Garbage has become a huge issue at present and is causing many hazardous problems. If this is not stopped in time, the future will be dreadful. So the Waste Segregation project has been taken up by the Kirloskar Social Commitment Initiative. Wet and dry waste will be separated, and within the dry waste, various items, especially plastics, will be segregated. And these plastics will be sent for recycling or proper disposal. Plastic segregation is the main purpose and motto of this program. Trained sanitation workers have been appointed for this. This effort will not only help in waste segregation and prevent the disfigurement of the city but will also ensure the disposal of harmful waste, particularly plastic. For Laxmi Foundation this work is of great honour.
This project in Kagal was recently inaugurated. On this occasion, all sanitation facilities were given safety kits after health checkup. This program was graced by, Kagal Chief Officer Mr. Ajay Patankar, Kirloskar Social Commitment Deputy Manager M. Sharad Ajgekar, Laxmi Foundation President M.
